Membership

» What is the difference between Associate and Authorized membership?

The only difference between the memberships is the method of compensation. An Associate Reseller receives a once-off payment equal to the first month's subscription. An Authorized Reseller receives 20% of the customer subscription for the lifetime of the customer account on AccessMyLan. 

» Is it possible to change membership type?

A Reseller may apply for membership of both plans depending on their business requirements and customer relationships.

» Is there a membership fee?

There is no membership fee for program membership.

» Is there a minimum sales commitment?

There is no sales commitment.

» How do I register for the Reseller Program?

Download and complete the application form on the AccessMyLan website. The completed application will be reviewed and an AccessMyLan representative will contact you with your membership details.

» Which Membership should I choose?

Associate membership is designed to provide a finder's fee for resellers who do not have a close customer relationship. Associate membership is appropriate for websites and non-IT partners.

Authorized membership is designed for Value Added Resellers and System Integrators who use AccessMyLan as part of their solutions portfolio and maintain a relationship with their customer.

» What support and training will I recieve?

All end-customers are supported by AccessMyLan directly so there is no requirement for technical training for customer service staff. Depending on requirements identified, full training can be provided to sales and technical staff  via webinars and online training.

» Will I be listed as a Reseller on the AccessMyLan website?

Resellers are not listed on the AccessMyLan website.

» How are my customer subscriptions tracked?

When accepted on the Reseller Program, you are provided with customer registration URLs that contain your unique reseller identifier. This unique reseller identifier is use to track your customer subscriptions.

Program Rewards

» How are commissions paid?

Associate reseller commissions are paid by check in the resellers selected currency, 30 days after the customer has paid their first month subscription.

Authorized reseller commissions are paid within 30 days of the customer billing cycle.

» What if the customer changes their subscription?

Associate resellers are paid based on the first month subscription value. If the customer cancels their account or does not pay the first month subscription, there is no payment to the reseller. If the customer adds additional subscriptions after the first month, there is no payment to the Associate reseller.

Authorised resellers receive a share of all customer subscriptions including any incremental subscriptions purchased by the customer.

» How can I view my reseller account status?

A monthly account status will be e-mailed to you with a summary of your account.

» Can I bill the customer directly and receive an invoice?

All billing is done by credit card directly to the customer. You may however use your own credit card to pay for the customer subscription and then invoice the customer.

» When is the customer billed for services?

The customer is billed monthly in advance in the first week of the calendar month. When a customer purchases a service, they are charged pro-rata in arrears for the month of purchase along with the advance charge for the next month. When a customer removes a subscription, their account is credited pro-rata on the next billing cycle for the value of the subscription removed. When a customer cancels an account completely, no credits or refunds are provided on any advance payments.
